It's comfortable to sit in (the back isn't straight, it's ergonomically curved a little). The legs have rubber feet at the bottom that can be adjusted for uneven ground. The seat cushion has ties to keep it from blowing away and the cover can be removed for cleaning. The powder coat was well applied ( I scraped the underside of the seat with a screwdriver and no paint flaked off). Cons: The finish matched the table I got with it, but the chairs were a little lighter color than the rest of the furniture. This aluminum bench seems to be well made and I like the fact that it's rust free so that we can leave it outdoors all year without worrying. It's also a style that would fit with a lot of different decors. We have a table and chairs with the woven pattern, so although this is a bronze color and the table is kind of a gray/bronze, it fits in well. The cushion isn't real thick, it's about 1-3/4 inches, but in relation to the size of the bench, the scale is right. The bench is comfortable even without the cushion. There are a couple little ties on the back side of the cushion to tie it to the bench so it doesn't slide off. It seats two people comfortably. We like it enough that we're going to order a second one so we'll have extra seating on the back patio.
